MY PROYECT: Long Range Wi-Fi Antenna With Recycled Material

The problem
The covid pandemic has shown us the importance of internet access for the development of an education, but we have come across the reality of rural areas of Peru where basic education students (primary and secondary) do not have internet access they have to walk long distances to be able to capture the cell signal and attend their class sessions regularly
Purpose
With the support of local governments, municipalities and communities to contract internet services, implement homemade Wi-Fi antennas made with recycled material and digital manufacture of components to distribute internet up to a range of 4Km, allowing internet access to students in rural areas .

Use of Internet Access for education
Internet access in the educational process has become a fundamental tool, even essential, since students can consult information, interact with their teachers, use platforms, being the basis of the modern educational model, many students were harmed by the restrictions by the COVID19 pandemic that exposes a reality of profound inequality in the teaching-learning processes in rural areas
Who will use
This project will benefit all regular basic education students in rural areas, agreements will be made with local governments and/or communities to hire the services of an internet provider that will then be distributed by our home antenna up to a range of 4Km
